PAWS of Central Texas

The PAWS Shelter of Central Texas and Humane Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing care and love to homeless, abandoned, and abused animals in Central Texas. The shelter is located in Kyle, Texas, 500 FM East 150.

PAWS was founded in 1986 and funded by the McCoy family; Miriam McCoy was a huge animal advocate. The McCoy’s built the facility in Kyle in 1988. The shelter was transformed into a no-kill facility in 2006, and its sole purpose is to provide medical attention, care, and love for however long it takes for the PAWS team to find companion animals a loving home.

Below is a video that provides more insight about the organization and facility.
